In January 2018, the Capilano Radio Club conducted a survey, over the course of a week, to discover what people want and expect from implementing campus radio. Thank you to all who came out and participated in our ‘I want Campus Radio’ survey!
We’re super excited to share our findings with you!
We’ve learned a lot about how campus radio could impact your experience and knowledge of student life. Here’s a quick summary of our results!
Our surveys suggest that the platform of an app – to stream live radio or pre-recorded podcasts would help connect everyone at Capilano U better.
Additionally, our research suggests that there are a variety reasons to tune in; whether it be for news, student life info, or even for showcased student work.
You seem excited to be tuning-in too; It looks like you’ll be listening between classes, while studying or en route to/from school.
Lastly, everyone seemed to enjoy a wide range of music genres; from Classic Rock to Hip-Hop, there will certainly be no shortage of great music on campus radio.
