Episode 2 – Vicky Ross
Vicky joined the English Department at Capilano in 2001 after completing a master’s degree at UBC. Before grad school studied and worked in Cambridge, London and Montreal–moving west every few years. Recently she’s been developing a mixed-genre world lit course looking at poetry, fiction, memoir and film that explores the life of the city. Although she insists she is not an enthusiastic academic administrator, served as a coordinator for the English Department twice and is a passionate advocate for her discipline! Join Will Clements as he interviews English instructor Vicky Ross on her journey of travels through various cities.
Episode 1 – Bradshaw Pack
Bradshaw Pack is a pedal steel guitarist, composer, educator, and a past recipient of the Joseph Stauffer Prize as awarded by the Canada Council for achievements in music. He is on the Faculty of Jazz Studies at Capilano University in North Vancouver where he teaches music theory, music history, and composition. Bradshaw also plays pedal steel in Peggy Lee’s Echo Painting. Join Will Clements as he interviews music educator Bradshaw Pack, on what keeps him motivated to teach every morning.
